STYRENE-INDENE RESIN

The present specification is valid for styrene-indene resin, which is produced as a result of thermal polymerization of row hydrocarbon fractions, containing aromatic hydrocarbons C8 and higher.

Styrene-indene resin is used:

• in production of tiers and general rubber goods as thermoplastic admix, homogenizer, plasticiser and adhesive for rubber mixtures.
• in production of concretes to improve freeze resistance, plastic properties and to reduce fissure formation and hygroscopicity.
• in production of varnish-and-paint product to improve adhesion, film-formation, freeze resistance, heat stability, electrical protection against sneak current.
• in production of waterproofing materials to improve heat stability, freeze resistance, plastic properties and adhesion of sticking surface.
