The present specification is valid for marine fuels, which are received as a result of compounding straight-run fuel oil, residues of petroleum polymer resins processing (aromatic oli) and diesel oil cut (except LDK-1 type fuel, which is received as a result of compounding of base and industrial oils, diesel oil cut and/or diesel fuel EURO, and/or aromatic oil).

Marine fuels are used in vessel engines and marine boilers. The following grades of marine fuels are produced: distillate fuel – LDK-1 and LDK-2; residual fuel oil – LK-10; LK-15; LK-25; LK-35 and are corresponding to marine fuels, produced according to the international standard ISO 8217 respectively: distillate fuels - DMA and DMB; residual fuel oils - RMB-10, RMB-15, RME-25, RME-35.
